Doctor's Biography:

Doctor Jeff Scieszka (pronounced Shess'-ka) grew up in Flint Michigan. He is the youngest of six brothers.

Education:   

Flint Northern High School: 1978-1980: High Distinction Graduate.

Kalamazoo College: 1980-1984. BA, Biology.

Michigan College of Optometry: 1990-1994: Magna Cum Laude Graduate.

Professional Experience:

Research Biologist: Upjohn Company 1984-1990.

Optometrist: 1994- Current.

Professional Goals:

Dr. Scieszka has had a myriad of professional experiences in many different areas of eye care during his 12 years as an optometrist.

He started Advanced Family Eye Care, PC in January of 2005. His main goal in his current mode of practice is aimed at preserving the intimate one-on-one doctor-patient relationship and personal service that is currently unavailable at commercial based optical retailers and large scale eye care facilities.

He also strives to always stay current with emerging techniques and technologies in order to provide his patients with the highest level of eye care available. 

Personal:

Dr. Scieszka has always had a strong interest in sports, competing at the varsity levels in swimming, tennis and golf in both high school and college. He continues to be active in these activities today.

He currently lives in St. Joseph with his wife and two children.
